There are a million stories in this world about people who have struggled with adversity and hardship and have been able to put all their fears on the backburner and have been able to experience success even with staggering odds against them!
My name is William Bettler; most of my friends call me Bill (unless you know me from my childhood town Coney Island, NY, where I used to be called Willy!)
I am about to share a little of myself with you, in the hopes I can reach just one person and make a positive change in their life.
I moved down to Florida about 12 years ago when my daughter was about 6 months old. From the moment I saw my precious baby girl, my life, thoughts and actions have never been the same.
Not to bore you with every detail of the last 12 years of my life, let’s just say that the first 2 years, was a financial disasster at best!
For the past 10 years I worked for, then later owned and managed a very successful mortgage company. The mortgages business was hot!
Let me take a step back for a moment here and share a little of my formal education. I am a high school drop out with a GED.
I did try college after a bunch of half-hearted attempts to work some lame job!
I ended up getting a two year degree at one of those colleges that they advertise on TV at about 3:00 in the morning when people who are worried about their futures are up watching for the next get rich quick scam!
Around 2003, people with no experience in mortgages were coming in by the droves to make easy money in the Florida Mortgage Business. Many people were making 150K to 250K a year. The price of homes were appreciating so fast that I was refinancing the same people 3 times a year, each time pulling out all the equity in their homes! The hours were very long and stressful at times. I would be very stressed at the end of the day and it didn’t make me want to go home to my family, because I knew I had all this pressure on me. (If any of you were or still in the business, you can appreciate what I’m saying)
Then came the BOOM! Here’s a quote from BBC News Dated November 21, 2007

Years before that Boom, I was already burnt out and looking for a change. I just didn’t know what could replace that kind of income.
I really didn’t know how to do anything other than work a Florida Mortgage Business. I have no formal education and even if I did, I didn’t want to work 18 hour days anymore! Like I said I was burned-out!
I knew there had to be a way to generate 20K a month; with out killing myself, I just didn’t know how.
I started thinking about sales again and what type of product I could sell and how I can reach a vast majority of people. The light bulb came on and I suddenly realized that every body and their uncle were on line in one fashion or another. Whether they were instant messaging each other or buy stuff from eBay, the world was online!
So I did some research and came across this website called Abundant Living System. I was completely blown away. I truly could not sleep that night!
In my younger days, I was involved with; you name it, Amway, Herbal Life, and most recently Mona Vie. Those types of comp plans meant I need to get thousands of people under me to make some real money. And I knew it would take years and years before that kind of residual income could be realized.
After a few days in my head weighing our pro’s and con’s I decided that I was going to make my dreams a reality. There was nothing that could stop me except me!
